Having just finished an essay on John Robbins, it is difficult to pull my mind out of the food industry and think of other topics for a final project. It is certainly possible to do something related. I could document my attempts or experience as I try to follow in the footsteps of current healthy eating concepts. Perhaps focus on the challenges of changing your diet (social pressure, inconvenience, giving up comfortable foods, ect.) and compare them to the benefits (or lack there of) of a different way of eating.
The problem with this idea is it is difficult to narrow down. Nutrition is by nature a holistic entity, but it is impossible to cover every angle in just a few weeks.
Other options may include breaking away from food. Perhaps I will take a critical stance at Subjective Reality by examining the philosophy of the Law of Attraction (popularize by The Secret). It would be interesting to tackle that from various perspectives, however that would likely be a more traditional, essay format.
There's the whole genre of "I did x for a year and here's my experience." What about that model. I can tell you more at class.
